An exceptional donation to transform the future of pediatric oncology care

The Charles-Bruneau Foundation made an exceptional donation of $4,724,832 to support the advancement of pediatric oncology care in Quebec. This major contribution will make it possible to take a decisive step in offering new perspectives to children with cancer and their families.

This major commitment comes in the year when Charles Bruneau would have celebrated his 50th birthday.
His legacy continues to inspire an ongoing mobilization, driven by the desire to combine research, innovation and support to improve the chances of recovery.

Projects with a promising future

Thanks to this financing, several structuring projects can be carried out, including:

  • the creation of a provincial platform dedicated to the research and training of multidisciplinary professionals;
  • the development of local resources in Quebec centers to bring specialized care closer to patients' living environments;
  • other initiatives to improve the comprehensive care of children and to alleviate the daily lives of families.
