The CHUS Foundation unites forces with the Vitae Foundation

Press releases

We are thrilled to announce that the Vitae Foundation is joining the CHUS Foundation family! By joining forces and resources, we will be able to better respond to the growing healthcare needs of the Sherbrooke and Eastern Townships population by together supporting projects of all kinds as they relate to health services, birth and end-of-life care.

Yannick Crack, president of the CHUS Foundation board of directors, Martin Clermont, general manager of the CHUS Foundation, Geneviève Delisle, president of the Vitae Foundation board of directors, Isabelle Bouchard-Veillette, general manager of the Vitae Foundation.
CHUS Foundation and Vitae Foundation

The mission of the Vitae Foundation, which concentrates primarily on improving healthcare and quality of life services in senior care facilities (CHSLDs) and reinforcing frontline care, for example in CLSC clinics or home care, blends perfectly as a natural complement to the mission of the CHUS Foundation.

Going forward, donations received by the Vitae Foundation will allow it to fulfil its mission and finance projects that benefit the establishments and clientele they serve, in addition to supporting research on aging and social issues. This expertise and new collaboration will allow the CHUS Foundation to support even more projects and respond to important challenges facing our society and our region.

Martin Clermont, general manager of the CHUS Foundation invites you to welcome Ms. Isabelle Bouchard-Veillette, current director of the Vitae Foundation, to the management team. Isabelle will oversee philanthropic development and relations with donors, institutions, and organizations that receive funding.

Welcome to the family and long live the Vitae Foundation!

See the official press release.

Thank you for giving for health!

Your involvement makes all the difference in achieving and pursuing the mission of the CHUS Foundation.
