From lobster to children's health!

Just like last year, the 23rd edition of the traditional CHUS Fondation Lobster Dinner took place over two evenings: Tuesday, May 9 for those in restaurants, then Saturday, May 13 for people at home.

The 300 or so people who participated in one or other of the dinners allowed the Foundation to raise no less than $35,019.
Each year, the funds raised by this activity are donated to the pediatric department of Hôpital Fleurimont.
Over the years, the care and services offered to children in Estrie continued to grow, in various departments, ranging from allergology to mental health, including neurology and neonatology. Every dollar invested in advanced medical equipment, research, research, implementation and updating of new programs to humanize health care makes a difference!
Remember that investing money in pediatrics not only contributes to the well-being of small patients, it also reduces the burden of illness on the whole family. Indeed, by taking care of children here, and by taking care of them in addition, we allow their parents to be where it matters during these trying times: with their child.
So, on behalf of all the little patients and their families, thank you to all the participants and our partners for their unwavering generosity!

The 2024 edition of Tirage-Voyage, a presentation by the Financière des professionnels, was once again a great success with net benefits of $157,838, funds that will be used to carry out small projects throughout hospitals in Estrie.
