15th Souper gastronomique | Desjardins: Over $2M Raised!
Events
The 15th Souper gastronomique | Desjardins of the CHUS Foundation raised a record $1,118,822. In an unexpected turn, a generous donor made an exceptional additional contribution of $1M, bringing the total raised for this anniversary edition to over $2M! All these donations will be reinvested in healthcare.

« Reaching this 15th edition is already a great source of pride, but witnessing the enthusiasm and the ever-renewed generosity of our community makes this moment even more significant. This evening demonstrates how much the people here care about health and the excellence of care offered at the CHUS," emphasizes Charles Custeau, president of the organizing committee. As the initiator of the event in 2010*, he is just as passionately involved, helping to make it an unmissable benefit evening. "We started modestly and raised
$25,000 in the first year, and today, this edition has yielded an incredible result!"
Over the years, nearly $7.5 million has been raised by the event, allowing the CHUS Foundation to contribute to the acquisition of state-of-the-art equipment at Hôpital Fleurimont and Hôtel-Dieu de Sherbrooke, as well as to the advancement of medical research projects.
"The Souper gastronomique is much more than a benefit event: it's an annual gathering where creativity and solidarity meet. I want to warmly thank the members of the organizing committee, our partners, and the entire CHUS Foundation team for their unwavering commitment, as well as our donors for their extraordinary support," says Martin Clermont, Executive Director of the CHUS Foundation.
A vibrant evening of music!
For the 15th anniversary of the Souper gastronomique | Desjardins, the Exhibition Centre was transformed into an enchanted forest and a huge television set where numerous artists took part in the Masked Singers game. An entertaining and emotion-filled evening, brilliantly hosted by Alain Dumas with the remarkable participation of Lulu Hughes, Édith Butler, Véronique Claveau, Bryan Audet, Paul Daraîche and Christian-Marc Gendron. Thanks also to Luce Dufault, Jean-Michel Anctil, Richard Turcotte and Alexandre Pronovost who played the role of investigators, much to the delight of the guests.
Thank you for giving for health!
Your involvement makes all the difference in achieving and pursuing the mission of the CHUS Foundation.
