We are lucky, at the CHUS Foundation, to see year after year, new companies that join the Entreprises Papillon movement that donate through the sale of certain products or during a collection at the cash register. It is even more touching to note that very often, it is a love story that motivates entrepreneurs to become valuable partners of the CHUS Foundation.

It is even more touching to note that very often, it is a love story that motivates entrepreneurs to become valuable partners of the Fondation du CHUS. This is the case of the founder of the company Roméo Ambiance, Koralie Perras-Isabelle, who also supports the Fondation du CHUS, one candle at a time! A clinical mental health nurse at the CHUS, she created her business after the sudden death of her father.
“During my school career, I lost my dad... Following his death, I experienced post-traumatic shock and studying was a hassle for me. Candle making allowed me to make peace and turned into a real passion. In 2021, I founded Romeo Ambiance, a Quebec company that produces room products and perfumes for the home. Our regular candle collection is marked with phrases inspired by my late dad. Funny phrases that will certainly make you smile,” says the businesswoman who gives a donation when each candle specially made for the Foundation is sold.
“Becoming a Entreprises Papillon for the CHUS Foundation allows me to unite my two passions, namely that of supporting people with illness while stressing the importance of taking care of ourselves on a daily basis! ”
We would like to thank all of our great Entreprises Papillon, which in 2023 contributed to improving the care offered to patients in Estrie: Sports Experts, Proxim Nathalie Marchessault, Uniprix Marie-Josée Blais-Roy, Excavation Désourdy, Coaticook dairy, Géro, Scout and outdoor shop, Camp Modulo, Sports Trans-Action, Romeo Ambiance, Mobile Ninja, Victor Music Center And Kookie Biscuiterie.
