An extraordinary outpouring of generosity for the Tournoi de golf | Banque Nationale Gestion privée 1859

The 26th edition of the Tournoi de golf | Banque Nationale Gestion privée 1859 welcomed a record number of golfers this year: 184 people challenged the Venise Golf Club course under tropical heat! Under the honorary presidency of Mr. Éric Bujold, Head of Client Relations at National Bank, this tournament and the evening that ended it raised an exceptional sum of $1,056,000.

This significant amount will allow the CHUS Foundation to meet priority needs at the Fleurimont Hospital, the Hôtel-Dieu and the CHUS Research Center, by acquiring cutting-edge equipment, by supporting research and the humanization of care.
Hosted brilliantly by Benoît Gagnon and bringing together some 430 guests at the Centre de foires de Sherbrooke, this evening will make history. This year, the 50th anniversary of the CHUS was honored and several patients took the stage to tell their stories and express their gratitude for the care they received in recent years. Thanks to Michèle Plomer, Dr. Valérie Bédard, Michel Beaudry and Zachary Bournival for their touching stories that went straight to the hearts of the donors present.
“We are fortunate to have a unique center of expertise in our region and the development of its university mission over the past 50 years has ensured that the population has access to a multitude of specialized care, close to home. It is important for us to maintain and pursue the development of our CHUS for the years to come and it is thanks to donations that we can go further,” says Martin Clermont, Executive Director of the CHUS Foundation.
The CHUS Foundation thanks all the participants, collaborators and partners of the event who showed so much generosity once again this year.
