A campaign cabinet to reach the $40 million goal of the major 2018-2022 fundraising campaign of the CHUS Foundation

Several efforts have already been made as part of the major campaign, and the mission of the campaign cabinet is to mobilize the Estrie business community to ensure the achievement of the objective. It is thanks to the contribution of donors dedicated to the cause of health that promising projects can be carried out and that the population can access specialized care offered in Sherbrooke hospitals.

In the coming weeks, members of the cabinet will begin their solicitation procedures. Here are those who have generously agreed to serve on this cabinet:

• Mr. Éric Bujold, founding president of Banque Nationale Gestion Pprivée 1859
• Mr. Alain Lemaire, Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of Cascades

Cabinet members

• Daniel Beaucage, president and founder of the Beaucage Group
• Mario Beaudoin, President of MB Capital
• Michèle Dionne, collaborator with the Red Cross for 15 years and author of the book Mission
• Alain Paquin, consulting partner at Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton
• Peter Provencher, investment advisor at IA Financial Group

“The aim of this campaign is much more than a financial objective. First and foremost, it is a promising project for the entire greater Estrie community and also for other regions that benefit from the specialized care offered in Sherbrooke. Its success will only be possible with the mobilization of all stakeholders in the field,” said Alain Lemaire, co-president of the campaign cabinet.

Mr. Éric Bujold, also co-president of the campaign cabinet, took advantage of the launch of the cabinet to announce a contribution of $1,000,000 from the National Bank to support several important activities of the CHUS Foundation. More details about the use of this amount will be announced shortly.

The CHUS Foundation is privileged and grateful for the support of the members of the cabinet and with their support, it is confident of achieving the objective set at the start of a major campaign. The cabinet and the Foundation team invite the Estrie business community to follow suit and demonstrate their support by donating for the major campaign, and at the same time for health.
