Giving back to change lives
Recognition
“Volunteering for this organization is a very rewarding and rewarding experience for us. We love working with everyone on the Foundation team. Everyone is nice. We really feel like we are part of the family.”

Carole and Guy want to contribute to the pursuit of the Foundation's mission in order to give back to others. The cause of health is particularly close to their hearts. Fifteen years ago, Guy had a serious motorcycle accident. This sad event led to the discovery of another medical problem that had never been diagnosed before. During the tests carried out at the hospital, the doctors identified a mega-tumor in the brain that had been growing in the last twenty years. “The doctors revealed to me that they had never seen such a big tumor in their entire career,” Guy says in a calm tone.
For three years, he fought to regain his health.
“I swore to heaven that I would be a volunteer until the end of my days if my husband survived these hard trials,” reveals Carole Séguin, her eyes misty.
Today, Guy is healed. They are both very involved as volunteers, whether it is to carry out delivery services, commissions or administrative tasks. To date, their greatest achievement at the Foundation was the sale of tickets for the Desjardins Health Grand Draw during a previous edition. They are proud of the number of tickets sold. They are certainly a winning and unparalleled team. Internally, we call them the inseparables. Take a good look at their photos and you will understand how much they admire each other. They are two volunteers with a big heart whose involvement is very valuable for our organization.
The CHUS Foundation team would like to thank Carole and Guy for their great dedication.
Thank you for giving for health!
Your involvement makes all the difference in achieving and pursuing the mission of the CHUS Foundation.
