23rd Cascades-IBM Golf Tournament: $1,203,965 raised for health
It was in particular the auctions that allowed the Foundation to raise such a large sum. This amount will make it possible, among other things, to purchase high-tech medical equipment and to support medical research projects.
The event was also an opportunity to highlight the involvement of major sponsors, Cascades and IBM, who are retiring after several years of involvement, 10 years and 6 years respectively. The commitment of these two Quebec jewels to the CHUS Foundation was a guarantee of success and excellence.
Starting in 2022, Banque Nationale Gestion Privée 1859 will take over as a major partner. The president of the company, Mr. Éric Bujold, will henceforth be the honorary president of the tournament. Mr. Bujold will be supported in his new role by the regional vice-president Estrie Centre-du-Québec at Banque Nationale Gestion Privée 1859, Ms. Marie-Christine Marcoux.
