Electrophysiology Lab (EPS)

Objectif :
$5M

A second electrophysiology lab at the CHUS will allow more people to be treated for heart rhythm disorders, thereby reducing wait times in Estrie. The procedure is quick and minimally invasive, allowing patients to return home the same day. The cardiology team uses specialized equipment, including medical imaging, and your contribution will help acquire it. The addition of this lab is essential given the increasing needs, particularly due to the aging population.

Help us improve access to specialized electrophysiology care for the population of Estrie.

Integrated Cancer Centre Phase 1

Objectif :
$5M

Nearly one in two Canadians will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. With the rising number of cases, a reorganization of services is necessary to meet the needs of the Estrie population. Implemented in two phases, the Fleurimont Hospital Integrated Cancer Centre aims to provide rapid access to care and a more streamlined path for individuals with cancer, in clinical environments adapted to today's realities. Phase 1 includes the expansion of radio-oncology clinical spaces and the integration of additional medical equipment, including a linear accelerator and an MRI.

Women's Health Fund

Objectif :
$3M

Women face many health issues unique to them, which, even today, are often minimized, misunderstood, or left unaddressed. The Women's Health Fund aims to take concrete action to bring about tangible improvements in three complementary areas: research, clinical care, and awareness and prevention.

Research: It is essential for deepening knowledge about women's health issues. Donations help optimize the long-term operation of the breast and gynecological cancer biobank, and support the awarding of annual research grants.

Clinical Care: The acquisition of modern and innovative equipment improves diagnosis, treatments, and access to care for women.

Awareness and Prevention: Access to reliable and accessible information on women's issues is essential.

Fonds oncologie pédiatrique

Objectif :
$10M

Did you know that just a few years ago, most children with cancer in Estrie were treated in Montreal? Today, 95% of children receive their treatments in Sherbrooke, close to their families and their home environment. To ensure the continuity and development of these specialized treatments in Sherbrooke, the CHUS Foundation created the Pediatric Oncology Fund which allows the care team to access numerous research protocols for treating children and to strengthen medical expertise. Since 2019, thanks to donations, the institution has been part of the world's largest organization dedicated to treating childhood cancer, the Children’s Oncology Group (COG).

Fonds PHASE

Promoting autonomy, inclusion, and quality of life: that is the mission of the Fonds PHASE. Through this Fund, individuals living with an intellectual disability, an autism spectrum disorder, a physical disability, or any other disability can easily and freely access essential equipment for their well-being that is not covered by public services. Established in 2023 with the support of the Mirella and Lino Saputo Foundation, the PHASE Fund allows patients of the CIUSSS de l’Estrie – CHUS to benefit from loaned equipment tailored to their needs. When no longer required, this equipment is collected and redistributed to maximize its impact for other beneficiaries.
