What could be better than the adventures of a family that still marks the imagination of Quebecers to entertain themselves while giving to the cause of health! For its 18th performance, the Theatre Group of Employees of the CHUS did a tour de force, again this year, by obtaining the rights to adapt the popular show Les Bougon, that's also life!
“It's always exciting to dive into a world that people know well and to surprise them with our interpretation of characters as striking as these! We already have a lot of fun reading the texts by Stéphane Baillargeon who has put together a whole scenario for us and the public will not be disappointed. François Avard will also do us the honor of coming to see the play! ”
explains Alain Campagna, actor and coordinator of this event, which donates his profits to the CHUS Foundation.
Last year, In a galaxy near you raised $26,800 with ticket sales and the participation of the presenter, Millette et fils, and the sponsor, Pharmaprix Carrefour de l'Estrie. These partners are back this year to support the troop, which is mostly made up of hospital staff.
“As a foundation, we can only be delighted to see this great mobilization of employees who devote hours to learning their text, rehearsing, making costumes, sets... and also selling hundreds of tickets! It is remarkable and I want to thank them.”
adds Martin Clermont, CEO of the CHUS Foundation.
Tickets are on sale now for $30. It is possible to get them online.
It's an appointment on November 15, 16 and 17, 2023 at 7:30pm at the Centennial Theater at Bishop's University.
