Dr. Le Bel was also responsible for post-doctoral teaching in nuclear medicine and radiobiology as well as for advanced studies in clinical science and radiobiology. Dr. Étienne Le Bel is recognized as one of the outstanding pioneers in nuclear medicine in Quebec and across Canada.
A man of deep conviction and strong belief in the benefits of research, he was involved in recruiting young researchers and providing an environment conducive to the advancement of research.
