Pediatrics Lobster Supper

In 2002, the first Pediatrics Lobster Supper took place, organized by François Chouinard from the office of Paré Tanguay notaries, along with some friends. Every spring since then, the Brasserie Le Dauphin in Sherbrooke has organized an all-you-can-eat lobster supper. This event is advertised one month in advance and brings together personnel from the pediatrics department, business people and lobster lovers.

Mr. Chouinard attributes this success to the enthusiasm of the organizing committee, the owners of the Brasserie Le Dauphin, those involved in the pediatrics department at the CHUS, and the event’s many associates. Each year at the Telethon, the organizing committee proudly presents the fruit of their fundraising efforts: a princely sum earmarked for the CHUS’ pediatrics department!

2009 Edition

On May 12, 2009, the organization committee held its seventh edition. During the evening, it unveiled this year’s contribution: an amount of $20 000. To date, $104 500 has been given to the CHUS’s pediatrics department.
