The Maison Desjardins Draw has been organized by the Fondation du Centre hospitalier universitaire de Sherbrooke (CHUS Foundation) and the Centre de santé et de services sociaux – Sherbrooke Geriatric University Institute (Vitae Foundation) since 1997, as part of their respective fundraising campaigns. In 2001, Maison Usinex has become a valuable partner in this project.

Every spring, in the parking lot of the Carrefour de l’Estrie we put up a house that the population can visit until the end of the summer. In September, the draw takes place from among the thousands of tickets sold, and the key to the Maison Desjardins is presented to the winner.

2009 Edition

Following the example of the CHUS and the CSSS-SGUI, the CHUS and Vitae foundations have involved other hospital foundations in conducting, developing and ensuring the continuity of the Maison Desjardins draw. The MRC des Sources, Coaticook, Lac Mégantic, Haut-Saint-François and Val-Saint-François hospital foundations have thus become privileged partners in the Maison Desjardins project. Thanks to this joint effort, the foundations involved share the profits.

This mega draw is made possible thanks to the involvement of a number of partners, most especially, the creators of our house and our collaborators.

2009 Winner

The Maison Desjardins draw took place on September 15 at le Carrefour de l’Estrie. Mr Claude Pichette from Stratford held the winning ticket number 08423! Congratulations!
