Investors Group Theater CHUS Employees
Setting its sights on new targets for its annual fundraising campaign, the CHUS Foundation broke new ground once again in 2001 by taking on an ambitious project: the production of a play. Since that moment, and every year following, CHUS employees and public figures from the City of Sherbrooke have graced the stage of the Centre culturel at Université de Sherbrooke in a major theatrical production.
To provide support to our actors-for-a-day and to present a top-quality performance to the general public, the CHUS Foundation enlisted the help of various artists. Marcel Leboeuf, Joël Legendre, and Stéphane Baillargeon have all been involved in the production of these theatrical presentations.
For the CHUS Foundation, this theatrical endeavour is above all a project meant to engage hospital employees. The final product, the presentation of a single performance, requires a colossal amount of work from the actors who strive to exceed their personal best.
On with the show!

2008 Edition
This year play "La Maladie du bonheur" featuring employees of the CHUS raised $28 000 for the Foundation. Due to the phenomenal success of the play, employees went back on stage for extra performances in Coaticook and in Lac-Mégantic in March 2009.
The next edition to be held next winter is also very promising. The selection of the new play will be finalized next June. Stay tuned!
