Governance

The CHUS Foundation is governed by a board of directors made up of 21 people who are mainly from the business and hospital communities.

Its directors are recruited from the governing members of the Corporation. The Corporation’s governors are primarily mandated to approve decisions made by the board of directors and to develop a strategic plan.

The Director General is mandated to ensure the leadership and management of all Foundation operations. The Director General is assisted by a permanent staff of eight.

Throughout the year, more than 700 volunteers help the staff with the many activities organized by and on behalf of the Foundation.
